"Indolentia" is the third single from Billie Bird's upcoming album, expected on March 10, 2023. In this song, she converses with the pain that comes to remind her of her purpose: to protect. When suffering in a relationship, the solutions seem limited to two options: fight or leave. But we can also choose inertia and stay. Because we are not ready to take the consequences, the chaos, that an end or a conflict can bring. So, to be able to endure this state, we must deceive our unconscious, detach ourselves from our emotions and train ourselves to be indifferent. Until we are ready to leave, or to explode.
